I am captivated by the natural world's infinite supply of mystery and answers. In my compulsion to interact with this mystery, the images I paint are those that exist outside of normal time and space, of nature that doesn't fit prescribed roles. 

I work at the boundary between the familiar and the alien, the sensual and the inaccessible. Ambiguity, apopheny, anxiety, curiosity and seduction play important roles in the experiences of these paintings.

Through these works, I pursue an experience of oscillation between temptation, curiosity and denial.
